I believe that all people have a valuable creative voice that deserves to be heard.
It is my job as acting coach to give you the tools to effectively and productively express yourself – and to book the job while you’re at it!
I employ a variety of techniques in voice, speech, text analysis, movement, objective work, and creative play.
I believe the ultimate performance comes from within, with strong technique and self-understanding working in tandem. And most importantly, acting should be FUN - they are called "plays" for a reason! I seek to unleash that energy in every client, and translate it into an active working career!
I was trained in Chicago by Anna D. Shapiro, and employ an approach that blends gritty Chicago realism with an intellectual understanding of heightened text. I focus on releasing the voice, improvisation, text analysis, and the combination of technique, content, and self-awareness.
